- Biomedical Engineering; strange to think but due to this new age where medicine and science is colliding, we need people to fill roles. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates this field will see over a 62% growth in jobs by the year 2020.
- Biometrics, or the study of how to build automated identification devices (facial recognition software). This industry is expected to grow to over $363 million by 2018, according to a New York based Transparency Market Research.
- Forensic Science, where students learn how to use technology to analyze evidence; normally we see these people on CSI. Due to technology evolving, they need individuals who can prevent and investigate crimes using updated equipment.
